Prior to buying my Jeep Liberty,
I had visited two other car
dealerships to get their offers.
First and foremost, I was
not impressed in the least
by their sales staff. My first
salesman told me straight
out that they were not interested
in having a sports car sitting
on their lot. They didn't
offer me too much of a trade
on my uninteresting sports
car. I walked out of there
in a hurry. The second car
dealership offered me a decent
price but just lacked the
service that I had been hoping
for and expecting. The last
of the car dealerships I had
decided on was a little bit
longer of a drive than I'd
hoped for but I had been referred
to them by a close friend.
I drove my new Jeep home that
same evening. My salesman
went out of his way to accommodate
my wants and needs and though
the price was a tiny bit more
than the previous dealership,
I signed. I was confident
that if and when I needed
to have my vehicle serviced,
I would never have any problems.
Not only did I leave there
in a new Jeep, but I also
had a
smile on my face.
Had I not done my homework
and not been picky about what
car dealerships I visited,
I may not have gotten a good
deal. Perhaps I would have
gotten a better price, but
I choose to believe that in
having done my research I
was much better informed.
And when an informed person
goes to make a purchase, it
shows. |
